Terms of Service
Last updated: July 17, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Errcheck (“Errcheck”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), including our website, dashboard, APIs, and SDKs (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you are agreeing on behalf of that organization.
1. The Service
Errcheck is an error tracking and issue grouping tool. You install an SDK or send events to our ingestion API, and we capture, deduplicate, and surface errors, stack traces, and related diagnostic data (“Error Data”) in a dashboard for your projects.
We may add, change, or remove features of the Service at any time, and may offer paid plans with different usage limits, features, or support levels, as described on our pricing page.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate registration information (including your name and email address) and verify your email via the one-time passcode we send during signup. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
3. Your Data and Error Data
You retain all rights to the data you submit to the Service, including Error Data sent by your SDK integrations (“Customer Data”). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Customer Data solely to provide and improve the Service to you.
You are solely responsible for the content of the data your applications send to us, including any personal data that may appear in stack traces, breadcrumbs, tags, or other diagnostic context. You must have a lawful basis for collecting and transmitting any such personal data, and you must not configure your integration to send data (such as passwords, payment card numbers, or other sensitive personal data) that is not reasonably necessary for debugging purposes.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law or the rights of any third party;
- Transmit malicious code, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users’ data;
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service, including through excessive or abusive API usage;
- Reverse engineer or resell the Service without our prior written consent.
5. Fees and Payment
Some features of the Service require a paid subscription. If you select a paid plan, you agree to pay the fees described at the time of purchase. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as we expressly state otherwise. We may change our fees on notice to you, with changes taking effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Errcheck and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms, we reserve all rights in the Service.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will detect every error in your application.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Errcheck will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use of the Service poses a risk to us or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
